Scheduling Lead

Assignment Description

Our client, is seeking a highly experienced Scheduling Lead for a major project. This is a critical leadership role on a high-value, schedule-driven project.

If you’re a seasoned construction scheduler with a deep understanding of large industrial facilities — and have mastery in Primavera P6, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, manage, and update detailed project schedules using Primavera P6
  • Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure schedule accuracy
  • Monitor progress and forecast completion dates, identifying critical path items and risks
  • Lead schedule reviews with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide regular reporting on schedule performance (weekly / monthly)
  • Support the construction team in identifying potential delays and assist in mitigation planning
  • Maintain and organize historical data for future reference and benchmarking
Qualifications
  • 15+ years of experience in construction scheduling, ideally in heavy industrial or projects
  • Proven experience on auxiliary boiler houses or similar large-scale industrial builds
  • Expert-level proficiency with Primavera P6
  • Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and sequencing
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to work on-site with a collaborative, boots-on-the-ground team
  • Engineering or technical diploma / degree is an asset
