A regional health authority in Manitoba is seeking a Scheduling Assistant to manage staffing and scheduling functions across clinical units. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, customer service experience, and proficiency in staffing software such as ESP. This role demands effective communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Applicants should have Grade 12 education and relevant experience.
Under the general direction of the Manager, Staff Scheduling and while demonstrating a commitment to the Mission, Values and Management Philosophy of St. Boniface Hospital (SBH), the Scheduling Assistant is responsible for: assisting clinical units and departments with scheduling and related functions in support of sufficient staffing levels on a 24-hour basis; and performing other related duties as assigned.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
Interviewed candidates may be called upon to participate in a skills assessment.
