Overview

Are you an experienced Planner and Scheduler with 4+ years of expertise in complex Commercial and Residential projects? We invite you to join our Building Construction Team in Burnaby, BC, where you\'ll play a key role in delivering a multi-faceted, high-rise residential project that will make an impact in your local community.

You will be responsible for planning, developing, and coordinating project schedules. You’ll track issues, analyze data, and provide critical reports to stakeholders and clients. Essential Responsibilities
  • Create integrated schedules using Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project for various project phases
  • Ensure schedules are vetted by Superintendents, subtrades, or the internal Production Rates database, and adhere to company best practices
  • Develop critical path method (CPM) baseline schedules
  • Prepare preliminary master schedules before project start to ensure they are realistic and competitive
  • Participate in project planning during pursuits and respond to RFPs, including reading and analyzing contractual requirements, drawings, and specifications
  • Incorporate resource and cost data into schedules and update progress throughout project execution
  • Track unplanned events, assess their impacts, and update schedules accordingly
  • Provide Time-Impact-Analysis (TIA) schedules, as-built vs. as-planned schedules, and microwork schedules as needed
  • Work with project controls managers, project managers, and teams to define project execution plans and schedules
  • Maintain master schedules and provide narratives for changes from the baseline
  • Develop and maintain databases for construction productivity rates, procurement durations, lead times, and project risk items
Qualifications
  • Minimum 4+ years in a Planner, Scheduler, or similar role, with experience managing complex ICI or residential project schedules
  • Residential or Commercial construction site-based experience is preferred
  • Diploma or degree in Construction Management, Estimating, Engineering, or related trade certifications
  • Proficient in Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Project
  • Strong understanding of construction execution strategies and CPM methodologies

Compensation

$85,200 - $117,150 Annually

This is the expected base pay range for this role. Individual base pay will be determined based on a variety of factors including experience, knowledge, skills, education and location.
