Qualifications

As a Scheduler, you will be reporting to the Scheduling Supervisor. The Scheduler works alongside the operations team to manage, and coordinate all the scheduling activities for the unionized employees in Mississauga.

With exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills, the ideal candidate would work closely with our Operations and HR Team to ensure that all administrative tasks are completed on time.

You will be responsible of:

  • Coordinating with the team to meet daily scheduling requirements
  • Ensure a high level of accuracy of data input into the scheduling program
  • Ensure that all vacancies created by absences of any sort are filled with the most competent and acceptable replacements
  • Ensure that data related to employee lateness, illness, absence is accurately entered
  • Generating daily hours and overtime reports
  • Managing all the employees’ vacations, requests, lieu banks
  • Firearm and PAL license tracking and scheduling
  • Managing the AMP attendance program for all ST union employee
  • Collaborate with the team to reduce overtime by seeking and applying scheduling knowledge.

Your profile:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Experience and/or knowledge of the cash services industry is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Experience working in an unionized environment is an asset
