Job summary

Structures STROSS Inc. is seeking a woodworker with 1–2 years of experience to set up and operate woodworking machines, fabricate and repair wood components, and follow specifications to produce furniture and fixtures.

The role requires the ability to read blueprints and work with gluing equipment, with clean, safe operation of machinery. 40-hour weeks in Vaudreuil-Dorion, with on-site work and benefits such as free parking and team-building opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of woodworking experience required.
• No degree, certificate or diploma required.
• Ability to read blueprints/drawings and interpret specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up, program and operate woodworking machines.
• Fabricate or repair wooden parts for furniture and fixtures.
• Operate glue and pressing equipment for wood assembly.
• Operate preset woodworking machines to fabricate wood products.
• Read and interpret specifications or follow verbal instructions.
• Clean and lubricate machinery and equipment.
• Replace parts as required.
• Read blueprints, schemas and drawings.
