Qualifications

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring an SAS Developer

Position type: Full Time

Location: Canda -Remote

As an SAS Developer,you will need:

Must-have skills for this role:

• Experienced SAS Developers to support the migration of existing SAS 9.3/9.4 environments to SAS Viya
• The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience with SAS programming, data integration, analytics workflows, and modernization/migration activities. Bilingual proficiency in English and French is preferred.
• 5 10 years of hands‑on experience with SAS Base, SAS Macro, SAS SQL, and SAS Enterprise Guide.
• Strong experience with SAS 9.3/9.4 and proven work in SAS Viya migration projects.
• Solid understanding of CAS engine, distributed processing, and Viya architecture.
• Experience debugging and optimizing SAS jobs and analytical workloads.
• Strong knowledge of data transformation, ETL logic, and dataset management.
• Proficiency with relational databases (Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, Snowflake, etc.).
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments and scripting (optional but preferred).
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French is strongly preferred.

Must have a demonstrated capability of managing a team of specialists, analysts and programmers.
