Job description

Our Toronto / Montreal-based client is seeking an experienced SAP Training and Development Manager to join their team on a full-time permanent basis. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role on SAP (ECC or S / 4HANA) projects or programs, along with experience in managing team and individual performance in a hybrid work environment, and in planning, executing, and reporting on IT project learning activities and deliverables. This is a hybrid role requiring 2 to 3 days on-site per week.

Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Planning & Program Management :
  • Contribute learning scope and resource cost estimates to annual and ad-hoc project planning.
  • Evolve the program's strategic roadmap and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Define and maintain standards while seeking opportunities for innovation in tools, processes, and approaches.
Team Leadership & Performance Management :
  • Manage team member performance, including establishing annual goals and providing regular, meaningful feedback.
  • Manage personal and team contributions to create innovative, engaging learning experiences across concurrent projects.
  • Execute and manage all stages of the instructional design process: analysis, design, development, and delivery.
  • Conduct learning needs assessments and audience analysis.
  • Develop learning strategies, plans, curricula, and learning paths.
  • Manage content development, approvals, and translation.
  • Plan training logistics (schedules, locations) and technical infrastructure readiness.
  • Provide training delivery support.
  • Identify and mitigate risks.
  • Monitor and report on progress and training effectiveness.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication :
  • Maintain strong relationships with various IT, Corporate, and Business leaders.
  • Communicate and collaborate effectively in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues and stakeholders across multiple regions.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
