A consulting firm in Vancouver is seeking an experienced SAP Technical Business Analyst for a 1-year contract with possible extension. The candidate should have a minimum of 8 years in analyzing and optimizing business processes, preferably using BPMN, and developing technical documentation for SAP modules. Job description

Our Vancouver based client is seeking an experienced SAP Technical Business Analyst to join their project immediately on a 1 year contract, with possibility of an extension. The ideal candidate will have a Minimum of 8 years of experience in analyzing, optimizing and documenting business processes, preferably using Business Process Modeling and Notation (BPMN). Developing technical and functional documentation for various SAP modules, including FI, HR, SD, and SCM.

This will be a hybrid position, with the specific number of on-site days to be confirmed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in project activities including, but not limited to analysis / research of needs, gathering, documenting and updating business outcomes and conduct information gathering sessions.
  • Analyze current processes, identify gaps, and recommend improvements to align with the enterprise operating model. Design to-be processes for the enterprise.
  • Use data-driven insights to support decision-making, ensuring that the operating model is based on accurate and relevant information.
  • Gather Requirements: Work with users to understand and document their needs and challenges.
  • Analyze & Translate: Analyze those needs and translate them into clear specifications for the technical team.
  • Help design the functional aspects of the solution to meet business goals.
  • Act as the main point of communication between business stakeholders and developers.
  • Ensure the final solution works correctly by supporting testing and user acceptance.
  • Experience with SAP’s Signavio Process Manager preferred (or a competitor process management tool suite).
  • Bachelor’s degree or post-graduate diploma in Engineering, Computer Science, Business or equivalent experience.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
