We are currently hiring for a SAP Project Manager - RISE & Cloud for our global SAP consulting client.

Location: Toronto, ON - Remote with occasional client onsite visit

Rate: $90-120/hr CAD C2C depending on experience

Start Date: ASAP

Duration: 6 months initially + potential long term extensions

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SAP Project Manager with a strong background in RISE and Cloud to join our team and lead the implementation of our RISE & Cloud solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in SAP project management, with a focus on RISE and Cloud ERP solutions. They will be responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle, from planning and design to implementation and post-implementation support.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and design of SAP RISE & Cloud projects, working closely with clients to understand their business needs and objectives
• Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets, and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget
• Manage project resources, including internal team members and external contractors, to ensure project tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
• Communicate project progress and updates to stakeholders, including clients, project team members, and senior management
• Identify and mitigate project risks, and proactively address any issues that arise during the project lifecycle
• Provide guidance and support to project team members, ensuring that they have the resources and knowledge needed to successfully complete their tasks
• Conduct project reviews and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices related to SAP RISE & Cloud solutions, and make recommendations for process improvements and new technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in SAP project management
• 1+ year of experience working on RISE Cloud ERP projects is required
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools
• Experience managing projects with budgets of at least $1 million
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and team members
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve project goals
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• PMP certification is an asset
• Experience with Agile methodology is an asset
• Willingness to travel as needed for project requirements
