This position offers solution expertise within the Energy Services domain, focusing on managing Enbridge’s legacy gas nomination and scheduling system (Gas CARE) while supporting the transition to a future SAP-based solution using modules such as Sales and Distribution, Material Management, BTP, and IS-Oil. The role involves overseeing product backlogs for Gas CARE, Focus, and Plexos, coordinating with other Product Owners in the Large Industrial Customer and CIS space to ensure alignment and prioritization. It includes responsibility for work sequencing, issue tracking, and risk management, while also validating solution designs and estimates from integrators to ensure they meet business requirements, operational reliability, and governance standards. What You Will Do

Lead the techno-functional effort for current and future nomination and scheduling solutions, owning and maintaining the Product Backlogs and reporting on status, issues, and deliverable changes.

Collaborate with stakeholders across contracting & billing, customer portal, measurement, architecture, and operational teams to validate strategies, align deliverables, and ensure solutions are fit for purpose and compatible with company standards.

Coordinate with Business Applications Support, shared services, and Enbridge development teams to align resources, timelines, and integrated project work.

Communicate effectively with sponsors, stakeholders, delivery teams, and shared services to advocate for business needs throughout solution definition, development, and testing.

Proactively identify and communicate risk factors and contingency plans related to SAP solution components to ensure timely mitigation and safe, reliable operations.

Participate in quality assurance testing and ensure alignment of features and capabilities with the design plan and business requirements.

Lead in partnership with BSS Release Planning and Review activities

Assess SAP user community needs and promote strategies that enhance customer experience and technology adoption in partnership with the Customer Care Business Relationship Manager.

Assist and coach SAP teams (internal and AMS) in troubleshooting and solutioning, reviewing and approving functional specifications and data-related deliverables.

Collaborate with architecture and operational teams to ensure solution compatibility with company standards

Develop and follow appropriate transition to sustainment plans to support implementations to ongoing support

Facilitate cross-functional meetings / presentations with various levels of management pertaining to SAP solution delivery. Maintain domain Application-System knowledge and keep abreast of solution development progress

Who You Are

University degree in a related field, e.g., Computer Engineering, MBA or equivalent experience.

6+ years’ experience working in either SAP Sales and Distribution, Material Management, BTP, IS-Oil or similar role.

Experience with maintaining a Product Backlog.

Experience solutioning, designing, understanding, and applying business requirements to estimates to ensure business benefits are delivered and a positive experience.

Experience working on large projects, including experience with handling complex, large scale, integrated systems.

Ability to influence work activities / decision as needed at different levels within the organization to clear obstacles.

Experience working on a large cross-functional project team.

Ability to conceptualize the business requirement and deliver innovative solutions.

Knowledge of core business applications such as SAP, SAP BW, PowerBI that are relevant to our delivery and integrations.

Technical skills such as Microsoft Office tools.

Experience leading a large group of diverse technical resources.

Advanced communication skills demonstrated through previous experience in the following contexts : leadership progress reports, multi-disciplinary project meetings, technical reviews with developers and SME’s, leading group training sessions.

Experience working in a global team, liaising with individuals across several time zones.

Highly developed organizational skills to prioritize tasks and complete work within defined timeframes in a fast-paced program environment.

Office environment.

Stress levels can be above normal as the work is highly visible, and decisions affect all integrated processes associated with new or changed business or operations.

Travel, e.g., 8 to 10 times per year between Enbridge regions / office locations.
