Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking an experienced SAP MM professional in Winnipeg to deliver Level 2/3 support, manage incidents, and optimize procurement and inventory processes. You will work within an AMS environment, coordinating with business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure service levels and accuracy across SAP MM, EWM/WM, SD, PP, FI/CO.

Required are a 5+ year background in SAP MM with ECC/S/4HANA, strong procurement and goods movement experience, and ITIL-aligned incident management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, supply chain management, business, or related field.
• 5+ years SAP MM functional experience.
• Strong SAP Inventory Management experience in ECC and/or S/4HANA.
• Hands-on procurement, inventory management, and goods movement knowledge.
• Experience in AMS or managed services environments with ITIL processes.

Key Responsibilities

Production Support & Incident Management

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for SAP MM and Inventory Management processes.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents, service requests, and defects within established SLAs.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement long-term corrective actions.
• Monitor support tickets and manage issue resolution through completion.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end inventory and procurement activities.

SAP MM Functional Support

• Support procurement processes including:
  • Purchase requisitions
  • Requests for quotation (RFQ)
  • Purchase orders
  • Source determination
  • Contracts and scheduling agreements
  • Vendor master management
• Configure and maintain SAP MM functionality.
• Support release strategies and approval workflows.
• Troubleshoot pricing, account assignment, and purchasing issues.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to improve procurement efficiency.

Inventory Management Support

• Support inventory management processes including:
  • Goods receipts
  • Goods issues
  • Transfer postings
  • Stock transfers
  • Physical inventory
  • Cycle counting
  • Batch management
  • Reservations
• Investigate inventory discrepancies and coordinate resolution activities.
• Support warehouse operations and inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Assist with inventory reconciliation and audit requirements.

Integration Support

• Support integration between SAP MM and:
  • SAP EWM/WM
  • SAP SD
  • SAP PP
  • SAP QM
  • SAP FI/CO
• Troubleshoot end-to-end process issues spanning multiple SAP modules.
• Coordinate with technical teams for interface monitoring and issue resolution.

Enhancements & Continuous Improvement

• Gather business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Support minor enhancements and process improvements.
• Participate in testing activities including:
  • Unit testing
  • Integration testing
  • User acceptance testing (UAT)
• Identify opportunities for process standardization and automation.
• Maintain support documentation, knowledge base articles, and training materials.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of SAP MM functional experience.
• Strong experience supporting SAP Inventory Management processes.
• Experience in SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Hands-on experience with procurement, inventory management, and goods movement processes.
• Experience supporting production environments within an AMS or managed services organization.
• Strong understanding of integration with SAP SD, PP, FI/CO, and warehouse management solutions.
• Experience with incident management and ticketing tools.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration experience.
• Experience supporting SAP EWM or SAP WM.
• Experience in manufacturing, distribution, retail, consumer products, aerospace, or logistics industries.
• SAP MM certification.
• Experience working in global support environments.
• Knowledge of ITIL support processes.
