IBM Consulting in Canada seeks a Package Consultant: SAP FIN FM to implement and configure SAP FIN FI solutions for clients, delivering high-quality results and trusted advice. You will leverage business knowledge and techno-functional expertise to integrate packaged solutions.

You will design and configure SAP FIN FM to meet client needs, analyze requirements, and collaborate with clients and teams to ensure successful delivery.

Formación

• Experience with SAP Funds Management (BCS), availability control and budgeting posting logic.
• Translate client budget rules and fiscal year changes into SAP designs.
• Manage integration between SAP FM and FI/CO/PS/MM modules.
• Deep understanding of budget ledger structures, funds centers, fund types.
• Hands-on budgeting derivation rules (FMDERIVER) configuration.

Your Role And Responsibilities

As a Package Consultant: SAP FIN FM (Funds Management), you will implement and configure SAP FIN FI solutions for clients and serve as an expert working directly with customers to deliver high-quality results and provide trusted business advice. You will utilize business and industry knowledge, business processes, and techno-functional solution expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology solutions.

Your Primary Responsibilities Will Include

• Design and Configure Solutions: Design and configure SAP FIN FM solutions to meet client needs, ensuring successful project delivery and high-quality results.
• Analyze Business Requirements: Understand and analyze business requirements to develop effective solutions that meet client expectations.
• Deliver Comprehensive Solutions: Develop and implement comprehensive solutions, leveraging knowledge of SAP FIN FI and working with the latest technologies.
• Collaborate with Clients and Teams: Work directly with clients and team members to build trust and deliver project goals, embodying IBM core values.
• Ensure Successful Project Delivery: Ensure successful project delivery by utilizing business and industry knowledge, business processes, and techno-functional solution expertise.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• SAP FIN FI Solution Expertise: Experience with SAP Funds Management solutions, including Budget Control System (BCS), availability control, and budgeting posting logic.

Translate client budget rules, fiscal year change operations, and public sector policies into functional SAP designs.

Manage integration touchpoints between SAP FM and core modules like FI (General Ledger/AR/AP), CO (Controlling), PS (Project Systems), and MM (Materials Management).

Deep understanding of budgetary ledger structures, commitment items, funds centers, and fund types.

Hands-on experience configuring Budget Derivation Rules (FMDERIVER) to automate coding structures

• Business Requirement Analysis: Experience in understanding and analyzing business requirements to develop effective solutions that meet client expectations.
• Techno-Functional Solution Expertise: Experience with leveraging knowledge of SAP FIN FI and working with the latest technologies to develop and implement comprehensive solutions.
• Solution Integration Expertise: Experience with effectively integrating packaged technology solutions using business and industry knowledge, business processes, and techno-functional solution expertise.
• Project Delivery Leadership: Experience in leading project delivery efforts, ensuring successful outcomes and high-quality results while working directly with clients and team members.

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• SAP Industry Knowledge: Experience with industry-specific business processes and practices related to SAP FIN FI solutions, enabling effective integration of packaged technology solutions.
• Latest Technology Familiarity: Familiarity with the latest technologies used in SAP FIN FI solutions, allowing for the development and implementation of comprehensive solutions.
• Business Process Acumen: Experience with business processes and techno-functional solution expertise to effectively integrate packaged technology solutions and meet client expectations.
