Job Title: SAP Finance Consultant

Job Description

The SAP Trainer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation and adoption of the SAP S/4HANA systems. Reporting to the SAP Project Manager, the trainer will develop and execute a comprehensive training strategy tailored to the needs of the organization. This will include designing, delivering, and supporting comprehensive training programs to enable end-users across the organization to effectively use SAP S/4HANA. The ideal candidate will have expertise in SAP modules, a strong understanding of adult learning principles, and a passion for empowering employees with the knowledge they need.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement role-specific training and materials for various areas of SAP S/4HANA, including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Project System, Cost Center Accounting, Internal Order Accounting, Bank and Cash Management (Treasury), Funds and Grants Management, custom processes, and internal reporting tools.
  • Prepare and customize training content that is tailored to the specific needs of functional areas and roles, including documentation, presentations, e-learning modules, and user guides.
  • Collaborate with project teams to understand business processes and system functionalities to align training content.
  • Lead engaging, hands‑on training sessions (in‑person, virtual, and e‑learning) to a diverse audience, including end‑users, super‑users, and key stakeholders; ensuring user engagement and effective knowledge transfer covering essential SAP functionalities, processes, and best practices.
  • Develop and implement post‑go‑live training initiatives, such as refresher training for new hires or role transitions.
  • Work closely with the Organizational Change Manager to ensure training aligns with communication and change strategies.
  • Collaborate with SAP project leads and department heads to identify and customize training needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate successful knowledge transfer and system adoption.
  • Develop training resources, including comprehensive user guides, quick reference materials, FAQs, training video tutorials, and other supporting documents for ongoing user support.
  • Maintain an accessible repository of training materials.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using feedback and assessment tools.
  • Provide desk‑side coaching and ongoing support post‑training.
  • Provide regular progress reports, training metrics, and insights to project leadership and management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience as an SAP trainer with a focus on S4 components and launching Ariba.
  • Ability to guide navigation around development and training materials.
  • Prior S4/HANA knowledge.
  • Strong proficiency in funds management (SMGM) and handling operational and capital budgets effectively.
  • Ability to participate in Testing Cycle 2 and build awareness sessions on upcoming changes.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90.00 - $120.00/hr.
