Job description

Our Calgary-based client is seeking an experienced SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) Cloud Applications Team Leader to join their project starting in late November or early December 2025 and will run until March 2026, with a possibility of extension. The ideal candidate should have 10 + years of experience in SAP projects, along with 3 years of hands‑on experience in BTP services like CPI, Workflow, Portal, and cloud applications. They must also have recent, practical experience in administration, CAP development, and Datasphere. The candidate must be comfortable managing outsourced teams of 5 to 10 professional technical staff and multiple contractors. This will be a hybrid work setting, with the exact number of on‑site days to be confirmed.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver subject matter expertise in SAP Cloud Administration, development and integration across the portfolio of 20+ cloud application within SAP Transformation.
• Manage interactions and integration with other managers and teams within SAP solution delivery, PODs as well and integrate with other D&IT teams.
• Develop processes and procedures to retain critical technical knowledge in house to reduce long term operational risk.
• Manage Cloud Admin team from the outsourcing partner.
• Responsible for delivery of significant project developments.
• Ensure project to sustain process is complete.
• Required technical documentation meets guidelines for project support.
• Review and approval of technical code violations to comply with development standards.
• Review and approval of production data access requests.
• Review and approval of developer access requests.
• Monitor service queue levels and addresses issues provided by outsource partner.
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
