Job summary

Suncor is seeking an experienced SAP BTP Technical Lead / Solution Architect to design, build, and lead enterprise-grade applications on SAP BTP. This Calgary-based role involves hands-on development, architecture, and DevOps enablement for SAP and non-SAP landscapes, while adhering to Clean Core principles.

You will lead cross-functional teams, drive integration architecture, and mentor engineers in a fast-paced energy company environment.

Qualifications

• Experience designing enterprise SAP BTP applications.
• Hands-on development and architectural leadership.
• Experience with SAP Integration Suite and API Management.

Responsibilities

• SAP BTP Application Development & Extension.
• Lead cloud-native, event-driven, and multi-tenant apps.
• Design integrations using REST, SOAP, and OData services.
• Enable secure communication using OAuth2, JWT, and XSUAA.
• Integrate SAP BTP solutions with S/4HANA and SAP LoB systems.
• Architect loosely‑coupled systems for scalability and resilience.
