Job summary

Precision Drilling in Calgary, Alberta, is seeking a SAP BI Reporting Analyst to design and deliver real-time BI solutions using SAP Analytics Cloud and BW/4HANA. You will collaborate with Global Reporting and Business Systems to translate requirements into effective reports.

The role focuses on data modeling, HANA-based analytics, and strong communication to support end users, drive process improvements, and shape North American analytics strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in SAP data warehousing and analytics (S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, Native HANA).
• Strong technical skills in ABAP, SQL scripting/AMDP, BI tools (SAC, BOBJ).
• Experience with Datasphere and BPC is a plus.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements into data solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with end users.

DAY IN THE LIFE:

• Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions, including reports and dashboards in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) and Analysis for Office.
• Collaborate with Global Reporting, Business Systems, and stakeholders to gather requirements and validate reporting solutions.
• Drive continuous system and process improvements to enhance operational capabilities and support business strategy.
• Coordinate and execute special projects, on-demand BI initiatives, and provide end-user training and support.
• Support the BI team in establishing best practices and standards as new technologies emerge.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU:

• 5+ years of experience in SAP data warehousing and analytics (S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, Native HANA), including embedded analytics, CDS views, and HANA modeling
• Strong technical skills in ABAP, SQL scripting/AMDP, BI tools (SAC, BOBJ), with additional assets such as Datasphere and BPC
• Proven expertise in data warehousing methodologies, data modeling, and advanced data analysis to translate business requirements effectively
• Strong communication, customer service, and collaborative skills, with the ability to work closely with end users to resolve issues and enhance processes
• Highly organized self-starter with strong prioritization abilities, comfortable in fast-paced environments, and confident in recommending improvements.
