Job summary

Leclerc Foods in Ontario is seeking a dedicated Sanitation Attendant to clean facilities and production equipment. You will play a critical role in keeping lines running safely in a high-tech snacks plant, surrounded by the aroma of baked goods.

You will follow sanitation procedures, assist with disassembly/reassembly for cleaning, and respond to emergency calls to support production, while upholding safety and hygiene standards.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a similar environment is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and good manual dexterity.
  • Ability to follow health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures.

Position Summary

As a Sanitation Attendant, you will be responsible for cleaning facilities and production equipment. Your role is critical: production lines depend on you! You’ll work in a safe, high-tech environment surrounded by the delicious aroma of snacks.

Responsibilities

You contribute to achieving the company’s objectives through the following actions:

  • Apply and promote safety standards for yourself and your colleagues
  • Follow sanitation procedures and good manufacturing practices
  • Clean facilities and production equipment
  • Disassemble and reassemble equipment for cleaning
  • Respond to emergency calls to support production
  • Ensure all areas meet sanitation requirements
Requirements

We are looking for someone who can:

  • Work efficiently while standing
  • Demonstrate excellent manual dexterity and strong attention to detail
  • Show mechanical aptitude
  • Follow various work procedures (health, safety, hygiene, sanitation)
  • Bring assets such as experience in a similar environment

Starting wage of $21.26 /h, increasing up to $29.33 /h depending on experience
