Ensuring the equipment and production rooms are sanitized and prepared for the next production run, following specific procedures.

Will include dismantling, sanitizing, and setup of equipment

This position works straight night shifts.

History:

At Chapman’s, we’ve been making perfectly delicious ice cream and frozen treats since 1973. Today, we are the largest independent ice cream manufacturer in Canada. Our product lineup includes more than 280 frozen treats – including premium ice cream, frozen yogurt, sorbet, water ice Lolly’s and a range of novelties.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment is considered an asset
• Some lifting involved
• Keen eye for cleanliness and safe use of chemicals
• Ensure all safety requirements are met such as personal protective equipment, WHMIS, lockout/tagout procedures and chemical mixing precautions
• Comply with government regulations to food processing facilities
• Experience in food manufacturing an asset
• Knowledgeable in sanitation procedures (production equipment cleanup/setup and building services)
• Willingness to work night shifts
• Dedicated, articulate and attention to detail

Compensation:

• Initial starting rate of $23.75 per hour
• $1.00 per hour shift premium on the straight night shift
