ALS Limited in Langley, BC is seeking a Sample Preparation Technician (General Labour) to support lab operations. You will prepare client samples by ringing, sieving, crushing and splitting under supervision, and help maintain a clean, safe work environment.

The role emphasizes accuracy, reliability and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced lab setting with applicable PPE and safety procedures.

• Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.

• Basic alphanumeric comprehension.
• Basic English communication skills (written and verbal).

Responsabilités

• Sample processing: ringing, sieving, crushing and splitting samples under supervision.
• Load and unload drying oven.
• Maintain accurate production logs and follow procedures for quality and consistency.
• Perform general cleaning and layout tasks to support lab cleanliness.

This is an excellent opportunity to begin or grow your career in a laboratory environment while working as part of a supportive and safety-focused team. **What you’ll do****Sample Processing:*** Ringing, sieving (including International Soils), crushing and splitting samples under supervision* Load and unload drying oven**Laboratory Operations & Maintenance*** Maintain accurate production logs and following established procedures to ensure quality cand consistency* Perform general leaning duties to support lab cleanliness and assist with layout tasks as needed**Safety & Compliance*** Always Complying with ALS safety standards and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements* Other duties as assigned **What you bring****Core Qualifications*** Strong hand eye coordination and attention to detail* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Basic alphanumeric comprehension* Basic English communication skills (written and verbal)* Good Organizational habits and strong reliability**Physical Requirements*** Ability to lift up to 50lbs* Manual dexterity for repetitive tasks* Ability to stand for a full shift* Ability to be clean shaven to ensure proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) fit* Ability to wear PPE such as dust masks and gloves* Occasional desk-based tasks**Our benefits include:*** An estimated hourly pay of $22.77 CAD at the time of posting.
