Job Description - Salesforce Practice Leader (053912)

Act as Engagement Lead/Practice Lead on Salesforce.com engagements to ensure successful delivery of the projects in terms of scope, deliverables, budget, client satisfaction, achievement of required business outcomes and team engagement.

Responsibilities
  • Understand client’s business needs and assess how to enable a solution to meet their needs.
  • Play an important strategic role in the relationship with our alliance partners (Salesforce, Vlocity) through identification of strategic opportunities, and coordination of marketing activities and campaigns. Candidate should have experience with working within the Salesforce partner eco system.
  • Demonstrate functional CRM and relevant industry knowledge and an understanding of current trends and issues. Leverage subject matter expertise in discussions with clients.
  • Create innovative and differentiated offerings, staying relevant and in sync with market demand.
  • Help lead and grow the Salesforce practice team through recruiting, people development and people engagement activities in coordination with the rest of the Canadian Salesforce practice leadership team.
  • Work together with Capgemini’s account and industry leads to originate new Salesforce engagements in the region.
  • Candidates should be flexible / willing to work across this delivery landscape which includes and not limited to Agile Applications Development, Support and Deployment.
Qualifications
  • Qualification & Experience: Experience with a professional consulting organization.
  • Strong experience with Salesforce technology solutions; ideally Salesforce certified.
  • Experience in managing external client projects in positions of increasing responsibility in the delivery of business consulting and systems development.
  • Strong negotiation and influence skills.
  • Deep knowledge of Cloud Computing and Salesforce.com, either through work at industry participants or consulting to the industry.
  • 15+ years experience, Bachelor's Degree.
  • Certification: manages engagements with complexity on EM level 2 or higher. If possible, certified at this level.
  • Master in Vendor Management, Transition Management, Change Management, Risk Management, Continuous (Service) Improvement and Project Financials, KPI & Reporting.
  • Strong negotiation capabilities.
  • Proficient in Quality Management.

Project Managers take full responsibility for managing a project or program. They normally manage a number of related streams or activities to achieve a desired business result, planned profitability levels, quality standards and highest-level client satisfaction. Project Managers are responsible for the project plan, budget, structure, schedule and staffing requirements for the delivery organization. A Project Manager usually has technical expertise in one or more other domains (e.g. a Project Manager with testing skills could perform a test manager function).
