About the Role

The Sales Support Specialist will play a crucial role in supporting our sales team by handling inbound leads, assisting with follow-up on quotes and meetings, and providing key administrative support to free up time for higher-value sales activities. This role will also be responsible for helping with trade show leads, sales research, and maintaining consistent communication efforts across the team. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Support: Assist Account Executives in preparing for sales calls and presentations.
  • Schedule meetings, demos, and site visits.
  • Manage trade show contacts: Input trade show contacts into CRM systems and send follow-up emails.
  • Manage inbound customer inquiries and incoming communications with friendly and helpful attitude.
  • Assist the sales team by following up on sent quotes and meetings, ensuring consistent touchpoints with prospects.
  • Lead Qualification & Nurturing: Qualify inbound leads and assess their potential for becoming customers.
  • Schedule and conduct introductory calls with potential clients.
  • Nurture leads through personalized follow-up and provide valuable information about Deep Trekker's solutions.
  • Prospecting & Lead Generation: Identify and qualify potential clients through various channels, including LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and other prospecting tools.
  • Conduct thorough research on target accounts and industries.
  • Execute targeted email campaigns and conduct outbound calls to generate qualified leads.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to build rapport and establish relationships with potential clients
  • Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred)
  • Proficiency in using sales prospecting tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, etc.)
  • A highly motivated and results-oriented individual with a strong work ethic
  • A passion for technology and a desire to learn about the underwater robotics industry
