As a Sales Support Specialist, you’ll be responsible for administrating for and assisting a team that recognizes their key role in delivering a superior service experience to our discerning clientele.
In this role you will:
- Understand seasonal, quarterly, and weekly sales goals and outreach targets
- Review client purchase history to identify opportunities and plan strategic outreach before each season.
- Calendarize outreach for the top 100 clients prior to the start of each season.
- Assist in preparing Herringbone laydowns for clients, including showcasing new arrivals.
- Prepare for client appointments by requesting/following up on orders for merchandise.
- Participate in client appointments to personalize experiences and maximize sales.
- Follow up on appointments: ensure alterations are completed, manage delivery of garments to Tailor shop, and discuss improvements for future appointments.
- Confirm appointments at least one day in advance.
- Assist with shipping, packing, and delivery of merchandise.
- Follow up on client requests for special orders or events.
- Support Made-To-Measure (MTM) scheduling and follow-ups.
- Manage daily and weekly administrative tasks: follow-ups on in-store transfers (ISTs), holds, deliveries, alterations, and client appointment logging.
- Ensure all alterations (in-house and outside) are logged and clients are reminded for pick-ups.
- Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the sales and alteration areas.
- Develop and review quarterly, monthly, and weekly sales plans.
- Conduct weekly reviews of clients not shopped lists to maximize selling opportunities.
- Manage overlapping client visits during peak times to focus on highest potential sales.
Successful candidates will require:
- Aminimum of 2 yearsof retail sales and client development experience OR office management, personal/executive assistant, or receptionist experience.
- Our menswear retail environment includes working within various departments such as sportswear, footwear, accessories, outerwear, tailored clothing and made-to-measure.Experience in these areas of the retail industry is a bonus.
- A passion for inspiring repeat business by creating exceptional customer service experiences both on-line and in-store.
- The desire to participate in the many training initiatives we offer and the ability to incorporate the skills acquired through those programs into your daily activities
- Demonstrated interest in technology and how to use tech innovations to support the retail Customer Service function.
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
