Job description

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Tasks

• Assign sales workers to duties
• Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
• Establish work schedules
• Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
• Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages
• Organize and maintain inventory
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers
• Manage cash

Experience

• 7 months to less than 1 year
• Support for newcomers and refugees: Recruits newcomers and / or refugees who were displaced by a conflict or a natural disaster (for example : Ukraine, Afghanistan, etc.)
• Support for youths: Offers mentorship, coaching and / or networking opportunities for youth
• Support for Veterans: Offers mentorship, coaching and / or networking opportunities for Veterans
• Support for Indigenous people: Develops and maintains relationships with indigenous communities, indigenous-owned businesses and organizations
• Support for mature workers: Provides staff with awareness training to create a welcoming work environment for mature workers
• Supports for visible minorities: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities
