The Role
The Central Sales and Support Specialist is a fast-paced, hybrid role responsible for managing both group and transient hotel bookings for global customers. Acting as a key link between customers, global sellers, and hotels, the Specialist handles inquiries through multiple channels—phone, email, web platforms, and customer systems—to convert leads into bookings, manage RFPs, support rate and contract negotiations, and ensure a seamless customer experience. They also participate in project-based work and service initiatives to resolve issues and enhance customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle. This position focuses on sourcing, developing, and securing business opportunities by leveraging various tools and systems, including revenue management platforms to assess forecasts, occupancy, and rate potential. Specialists work closely with customers to present tailored proposals and sell optimal solutions through effective communication and relationship-building. Depending on customer needs, they may also coordinate and build reservations or group blocks based on negotiated rates or contracts, contributing directly to revenue growth and supporting Wyndham’s global sales efforts.
