Richelieu Hardware is looking for a Outside Sales Representative for our Moncton, New-Brunswick branch.
Responsibilities
- Sales Development: Prospect new business opportunities and develop relationships with potential customers in your territory.
- Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with current clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Product Knowledge: Stay informed about Richelieu’s full product line, including hardware solutions for woodworking, construction, and other related industries.
- Sales Presentations & Negotiations: Conduct in-person meetings, product presentations, and negotiations with clients to close sales.
- Sales Targets: Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets while maximizing profitability.
- Market Intelligence: Keep up to date on market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the internal team to ensure smooth order processing and delivery, addressing any customer inquiries or concerns promptly.
Requirements
- Previous experience in outside sales and/or business development with strong skills to canvas new opportunities. (3 to 5 years)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization.
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of the hardware industry and related products is a plus.
- The individual should also have strong computer skills especially in Microsoft Office (specific to Outlook, Excel, Power Point and Word)
- College Degree in Marketing or a related field would be an asset.
