A dynamic technology company in Kitchener seeks a Sales Representative to sell their software to family farms. This role involves 100% inbound leads with high deal velocity, overseeing 100-200 active prospects. Ideal candidates have 2+ years of technology sales experience, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for agriculture. Local Line transforms the fragmented local food system into a unified marketplace that enables farmers to sell direct to all kinds of food buyers including restaurants, grocers, distributors, and households. We make local food procurement easy for high-volume wholesale buyers by aggregating supply and seamlessly integrating into their existing workflows and supply chains. We work with over 10,000 family farms in over 14 countries, helping them sell to some of the most recognized restaurant and grocery brands in the world. Our platform has taken a traditionally chaotic industry and harmonized its operations, effectively helping to shorten supply chains, increase farmer margins, and improve the overall food system.

The Sales organization at Local Line is composed of two teams: (a) The Buyers Team and (b) The Farm Team. The Buyers Team sells our Sourcing Platform to restaurants, grocery stores, and distributors. The Farm Team sells the Local Line Ecommerce Platform to farms and food hubs. As a Sales Representative, you’ll be working on the Farms Team, selling our software to family farms with annual contract values ranging from $1,000 - $5,000. You’ll work closely with the Marketing Team to generate qualified leads, as well as with the Onboarding Team to ensure farmers launch successfully.
