Job description

Overview

Lutron Canada is seeking a highly motivated Salesperson to join our Electrical Distribution Channel in the greater Toronto area. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining regular contact and relationships with strategic distribution accounts and sales teams. You will work closely with our representative partners to execute electrical distribution programs and initiatives, driving the growth and development of Lutron's business.

Responsibilities
  1. Maintain regular contact and relationships with strategic distribution accounts and sales teams
  2. Collaborate with representative partners to execute electrical distribution programs and initiatives through regular business reviews and communication with rep principals, program managers, and sales teams
  3. Conduct strategic electrical distribution account business reviews, sales meetings, and vision presentations to drive and develop Lutron business
  4. Build business development plans with and for strategic accounts and drive execution
  5. Execute strategic selling events, including commercial workshops, RAC seminars, trade shows, etc.
  6. Call on and educate electrical contractors
  7. Call on major end users to sell retrofit energy solutions
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s Degree with minimum cumulative 2.80 GPA required if less than 2 years of experience
  2. Up to 3 years of sales or relevant work experience preferred
  3. Computer skills required (i.e. MS Office required, Salesforce.com a plus)
  4. Willingness to travel 50% of the time through Eastern Canada (Ontario, Quebec, Atlantic Provinces)
  5. Valid Canadian Drivers license required
