Sales Representative – Calgary, AB

Looking for a junior salesperson in Calgary, AB, looking to learn, grow and develop in professional sales. An individual that’s good at prospecting, expanding our network of business and closing deals that benefit both the customer and Strad.

Major Responsibilities
  • Must excel at developing and finding new business through cold calling, networking and looking outside the primary industry
  • Responsible for representing Strad directly to existing customers and new customers
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, and tenders (RFPs, RFQs)
  • Understand client operational needs and recommend appropriate Strad Inc. products or services
  • Upkeep and growth of existing accounts, and creation of new accounts
  • Responsible for meeting monthly & quarterly revenue goals
  • Prospecting, creating sales funnels and obtaining meetings via onsite or remote.
  • Collecting information about customers and competitors to assist in the development of sales strategies
  • Collecting customer billing information, working with the finance team to generate tickets, and assisting in getting tickets approved by customers
  • Strong communication and working relationship with operations to ensure we exceed customer expectations on all jobs
  • Additional duties based on business needs as directed by your manager
Knowledge, Education, Skills & Qualifications
  • 0 to 5 years’ experience in Construction, Powerline, Pipeline, Oil and Gas operations and field sales/corporate sales
  • A strong background and working knowledge in the products and services that Strad offers, preferred
  • Extensive travel in and around Calgary, AB
  • Travel to Field locations quarterly
  • Must be able to meet goals and quotas as assigned by the management team
  • A proven sales track record a plus but not a requirementSuperior interpersonal and communication skills; able to relate well with customers and coworkers
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Must possess a qualified Driving Record
  • Ability to navigate and utilize Strad Quoting system, Power BI and all Microsoft products
