A leading distributor of industrial and commercial laundry machines in Canada is seeking a Sales Representative to join their team. You will be responsible for maintaining a client base, identifying new opportunities, and providing exceptional support. Prior B2B sales experience is preferred, and candidates with related trades experience will also be considered. This position includes a competitive salary, commission, and vehicle allowance.

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Compensation: $50,000-$65,000/year + Commission + Vehicle allowance

About the Company:

Our client has been in business for over 60 years, they are Canada's leading distributor of industrial and commercial laundry machines. They primarily serve the healthcare, hospitality and multi unit housing industries, as well as the coin laundry industry.

They are growing at a rapid rate and are seeking to add a Sales Representative to their dynamic team!

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and expand an existing client base of laundromat owners and operators within your designated territory
  • Identify and pursue new laundromat opportunities through cold calling, networking, inbound leads and industry events
  • Guide clients through the laundromat development process, from equipment selection and quoting to financing, layout planning and installation
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, proposals and sales activities using CRM software
  • Build long-term relationships by providing trusted guidance and exceptional after-sale support
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales goals and performance targets
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working in B2B sales, equipment sales or business development role (prior experience in laundry or related industries is considered to be a strong asset)
  • Candidates with experience in related trades (e.g., HVAC, plumbing, electrical, commercial equipment) but no formal sales background will also be considered
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle and ability to travel locally and on occasion overnight as needed
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to manage your own pipeline and territory independently
