A leading energy solutions provider in Calgary is seeking a Sales Representative to enhance market share for Command Fishing and Pipe Recovery in Western Canada. The candidate will develop relationships with key decision makers, understand customer needs, and implement sales strategies. Ideal candidates will possess an engineering background and 5-10 years of industry experience, along with strong interpersonal and technical skills.

Qualifications

  • 5 – 10 years of industry experience preferred.
  • Experience in drilling and/or completion related to the field is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Grow Command Fishing and Pipe Recovery's market share and revenue in Western Canada.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with prospective customers.
  • Understand the needs of customers and the competitive landscape.
  • Prepare proposals for RFQs and RFPs.
  • Participate in bidding strategies for key opportunities.

Job description

Based out of Calgary, the Sales Representative will be focused on growing Command Fishing and Pipe Recovery (CFPR) overall market share and revenue for the Western Canadian market. He/she will focus on key decision makers in Calgary, communicating CFPR’s value and differentiating factors to secure market share. He/she will accomplish the objective by understanding the Canadian Energy market, our prospective and current customer needs as well as the competitive landscape. He/she will create sales on growth targeting prospective customers and building upon his/her relationships. This team member will gain business by building strong relationships through customer service, technical knowledge, integrity and promoting our operational experience and equipment reliability.

Essential Responsibility

The Sales Representative will report directly to the VP of Sales and will be working from the downtown Calgary office. The position is responsible for the long term growth of profitable business in the Western Canada market place. The successful candidate will also ensure CFPR’s services and equipment is well positioned to succeed in the market place, considering current and future market conditions.

  • Short term / Long term profitable growth within Canada
  • Developing new and maintaining existing relationships with prospective customers

  • Proposals in response to RFQ’s and RFP’s
  • Participating in bidding strategy for key specific opportunities
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong technical background
  • A self starter with a strong drive
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Willingness to work and be available for customer calls out of normal working hours
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Engineering diploma or degree, in field drilling and/or completion related experience considered to be an asset
  • Preferred 5 – 10 yrs industry experience
