Job Description – Technical Sales Executive
Position Title: Technical Sales Executive

1. Role Summary

The Technical Sales Executive is responsible for generating new business, managing client relationships, and promoting ICPL’s technical consultancy services. The role requires both strong sales skills and the ability to understand and explain technical concepts related to ISO standards, compliance, and organizational management systems.

2. Key Responsibilities
Sales Development
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Conduct sales meetings, presentations, and technical discussions with clients.
  • Prepare proposals, quotations, tender submissions, and service agreements.
  • Manage the full sales cycle—from prospecting to closing.
  • Maintain an active and updated sales pipeline.
Technical Engagement
  • Understand ICPL’s ISO consultancy services, product offerings, and technical requirements.
  • Address customer technical queries and provide solution-based recommendations.
  • Coordinate with consultants and project delivery teams to ensure clear handover after sales confirmation.
Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Provide timely follow-ups and respond to client enquiries professionally.
  • Ensure high client satisfaction and retention through proactive engagement.
Marketing & Outreach
  • Support marketing campaigns, industry events, webinars, and workshops.
  • Assist in developing marketing materials such as brochures, posts, and case studies.
  • Conduct market research on competitors, pricing trends, and industry demand.
Reporting & Compliance
  • Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports.
  • Ensure sales activities adhere to company policies and relevant regulations.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in line with internal quality standards.
3. Requirements
Qualifications
  • Diploma/Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Technical background or understanding of ISO systems (advantage).
Experience
  • 1–3 years of sales, technical sales, business development, or consultancy experience.
  • Experience in professional services, compliance, or training sectors preferred.
Competencies
