What This Role is All About
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and strategic sales leader to play a pivotal role in one of our growing markets. As the Branch Sales Manager for Winnipeg, you will lead a team of 8–10 direct reports and oversee the day‑to‑day operations of our Winnipeg branch. You will champion revenue growth, strengthen our market presence, and ensure alignment with Durabuilt’s operational standards, values, and strategic goals.
You will serve as a key member of our leadership team, working closely with colleagues and customers to deliver meaningful results and long‑term success.
Leadership & Strategy
- Lead, develop, and execute market business plans, budgets, and sales strategies to achieve or exceed annual targets.
- Provide hands‑on leadership, coaching, and direction to drive team performance and professional growth.
- Champion the use of Salesforce to manage sales pipeline visibility, forecasting accuracy, and customer service performance.
- Foster a strong, collaborative, and high‑performing team culture grounded in accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Sales Excellence & Market Development
- Build and strengthen customer relationships through partnership, responsiveness, and industry expertise.
- Support team members in developing stronger customer partnerships and relationship‑building strategies.
- Participate directly in sales activities for major opportunities and key accounts.
- Monitor market conditions, economic trends, and competitive activity to position the branch for success.
- Identify new opportunities and ensure branch readiness to capitalize on market demand.
Operational Excellence
- Ensure branch adherence to company policies, procedures, and service expectations.
- Work closely with teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences through speed, consistency, and quality.
- Evaluate and optimize operational processes to support a high‑performing sales network.
- Promote ongoing training, development, and continuous learning to enhance team capability and innovation.
Community & Industry Engagement
- Represent Durabuilt at industry associations, community events, and customer engagement activities.
- Build strong internal relationships across departments to foster alignment and cross‑functional success.
Your Skills & Background
- Degree in Business, Management, Commerce, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in sales leadership roles.
- Proven track record of building, coaching, and motivating high‑performing sales and operations teams.
- Experience in home‑building, residential/commercial construction, or related industries preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve strong results in competitive markets.
- Hands‑on leadership style with strong accountability, coaching ability, and bias for action.
- Exceptional communication, relationship‑building, and problem‑solving skills.
- Highly organized with strong time‑management and prioritization skills.
- Known for integrity, professionalism, and a commitment to excellence — someone whose guidance positively impacts careers.
- A true DRIVER who acts with urgency, takes OWNERSHIP of results, and never sacrifices the customer experience.
Working Conditions
- Primarily office‑based with intermittent travel for branch support, meetings, and training.

- Light lifting (0–20 lbs) and routine use of standard office equipment (laptop, smartphone).
