Job summary

A leading automotive dealership in Ontario is seeking an experienced Used Car Manager to oversee all areas of the used car department. Responsibilities include managing sales teams, setting targets, and providing expert support to staff. Qualifications

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Used Car Manager is considered an asset.

Job description
Responsibilities
  • Provide Sales Consultants with up-to-date product information;
  • Provide expert sales and negotiation support to all Sales Consultants;
  • Assist junior sales staff with negotiation and closing of deals;
  • Set and manage the achievement of monthly team and individual sales targets;
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to the sales team;
  • Set sales expectations for Sales Consultants, including customer expectations, as well as quota achievement;
  • Assist in measuring the activities of each Sales Consultant to ensure that their marketing activities will produce intended sales production;
  • Agree to achievable delivery timetables;
  • Assist in determining staffing requirements and participate in the hiring of staff;
  • Assist with vehicle inventory management;
  • Continuous manager follow-up in VIN Solutions;
  • Monitor incoming leads;
  • Ensure outbound activity is being done by Sales Consultants;
  • Assist in planning and implementing sales-incentive programs;
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints;
  • Encourage the development of lasting client-dealership relationships;
  • Encourage a high level of extended warranty and other protection and accessory plans;
  • Liaise with finance, service and other departments to help facilitate sales;
  • Model and champion NewRoads Automotive Group Pillars and Values;
  • Create and maintain a high level of morale and enthusiasm for NewRoads Honda products;
  • Perform other duties as required.
What You Offer

  • Ability to hire, train and effectively lead sales consultants;
