Job summary

MoveSmart Rentals is hiring a Sales Manager to lead our remote Account Manager team. This role focuses on coaching, performance management, and driving inbound-based growth across time zones.

You’ll manage a fully remote team, leverage AI tools for coaching and reporting, and ensure targets are met through structured cadences, demos, and rigorous pipeline reviews. Eastern Time hours required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years total sales experience.
• 4+ years sales management experience with real examples of improving team performance.
• 2+ years managing a fully remote sales team.
• Experience managing 8-15+ direct reports or similar scope.
• Strong CRM, dashboard, and reporting discipline.
• Confident, direct leader who holds standards without creating chaos.
• Strong coaching ability based on real calls, real files, real data, and real results.
• Comfortable managing inbound sales, follow-up, warm leads, upsells, and file movement.
• Comfortable using AI tools in day-to-day sales management.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team of remote Account Managers to hit weekly and monthly targets
• Drive daily execution: speed-to-lead, demos, follow-ups, CRM activity, pipeline movement, owner sign-ups, upsells, offers, and file progress
• Review call recordings, transcripts, CRM notes, tasks, follow-ups, and performance reports
• Run 1:1s, call coaching, pipeline reviews, and performance scorecards
• Hold Account Managers accountable for missed follow-ups, weak calls, low conversion, poor CRM discipline, and stalled files
• Coach the team on demos, objection handling, urgency, closing, upsells, offer presentation, and owner communication
• Handle underperformance properly: early warning metrics -> coaching plan -> PIP -> decision
• Support hiring by helping evaluate Account Manager candidates and identify strong performers
• Improve team output using AI tools, reporting, call summaries, QA, and coaching insights

Compensation: $60,000 CAD annually based on experience + Quarterly Bonuses, with the opportunity to earn up to approximately $84,000+ CAD annually

MoveSmart Rentals helps property owners lease their rental properties with more structure, visibility, and follow-up. We support owners through inbound inquiries, demos, follow-ups, signed owner files, listing readiness, showings, offers, upsell opportunities, and move-in progress.

We’re hiring a Sales Manager to manage our remote Account Manager team. This is not a cold-calling sales floor. The team handles warm inbound owner leads, demos, follow-ups, active owner files, offer presentation, and conversion opportunities.

Must-have requirement

Proven experience managing a fully remote sales team. You’ve led reps across time zones, held accountability virtually, reviewed CRM activity, coached from call recordings, and driven performance through cadence, coaching, and scorecards.
