Job description

You are:

A growth-focused sales professional who has successfully created positive impact through year-on-year business expansion. You know – and have run all phases of a sales cycle, including qualification, sales pursuit, and close by applying deep sales process and technical expertise. You develop relationships with key buyers and decision-makers at new and existing clients by utilizing a differentiated roadmap and framework leveraging the latest cloud-based technologies.

As a Sales Capture Senior Manager, you will be responsible for shaping, selling, and closing large deals that are single or multi-service. Your goal is to close sales opportunities resulting in profitable sales growth by leading opportunities from qualification to deal close, using deep sales process skills and expertise in Accenture’s offerings. This role also involves originating opportunities, in addition to qualification, shaping, selling, negotiating, and closing.

The work includes:

  • Create solutions to complex technology business problems or opportunities requiring in-depth knowledge of client buyer needs.
  • Interact with senior management levels at clients and within Accenture, determine pursuit strategies, develop client messaging plans and relationships, and apply industry-leading Oracle transformation strategies and practices.
  • Operate with latitude in decision-making and determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.
  • Operate within large teams and direct specific team sales activities.
  • Travel may be required, varying from 25% to 100% depending on business needs and client requirements.

What you need:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in selling System Integration / Application Managed Services to Insurance companies, with experience selling managed service deals to large insurance companies.
  • Minimum of 8 years in originating and shaping complex deals for a major consulting and/or professional services organization.
  • Minimum of 8 years’ sales pursuit management experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in direct sales with a quota, preferably in excess of $10M+.
  • Minimum of 2 years' recent experience selling.
  • Bachelor’s degree or completion of a college program in a related discipline.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience working within G2000 customers.
  • Experience with C-Level client relationship building and management.
  • Proven ability to operate within a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment, teamwork, and collaboration in a professional setting, either military or civilian.
  • High energy level, focus, and ability to work well in demanding client environments.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • Unquestionable professional integrity, credibility, and character.
