Position Summary

We are seeking a strategic and results‑driven Sales Executive to lead business development efforts within the Canadian public sector. This role is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and closing opportunities across federal, provincial, and municipal government agencies. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of public sector procurement processes, a strong network within government circles, and a passion for delivering impactful technology solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain trusted relationships with key stakeholders across government departments and agencies.
  • Develop and execute a territory plan aligned with public sector priorities, including digital transformation, citizen services, and compliance.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from prospecting to close, including RFP/RFI responses, bid strategy, and contract negotiation.
  • Partner with internal teams (Solutions, Delivery, Legal, Finance) to craft compelling proposals and ensure successful delivery.
  • Stay informed on public sector trends, funding cycles, and policy changes that influence procurement and technology adoption.
  • Generate and qualify leads through proactive outreach, industry events, and collaboration with marketing and channel partners.
What you offer us
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • 15+ years of experience in enterprise sales, with a focus on the public sector in Canada including the Federal, Provincial and Municipal governments.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing complex deal cycles.
  • Deep knowledge of Canadian government procurement processes and contracting vehicles.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
Education and Experience
  • A university degree or diploma in the field of Business Administration; or equivalent education and experience.
  • Must be able to pass a Criminal Record Check and Federal Reliability Security Clearance.
