Job Title: Sales, Equipment & Parts Representative

Location: Halifax, NS

Pay Rate: $25.00/hr

Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Temporary to Permanent

Schedule: Monday-Friday (8:00 AM - 4:00 PM) and some Saturdays (9:00 AM - 12:00 PM)

Job Overview

Advantage Personnel is currently hiring a Sales, Equipment & Parts Representative on behalf of our client. This role involves selling outdoor power equipment and parts, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining an organized and professional showroom environment.

Responsibilities
  • Sell all product lines of outdoor power equipment and parts to retail and commercial customers.
  • Provide prompt, courteous, and knowledgeable service to walk-in and call-in customers.
  • Invoice sales through the company\'s computer system and process payments by cash or card.
  • Merchandise and maintain the showroom, ensuring all products are properly priced and displayed.
  • Stay up to date on product knowledge, manufacturer information, and promotional materials.
  • Support commercial sales, including business-to-business transactions when required.
  • Answer phones, respond to inquiries, and take accurate customer messages.
  • Follow company policies and procedures while maintaining a professional and team-oriented attitude.
  • Perform sales support tasks, including stocking the warehouse and organizing parts inventory.
  • Assist with other related duties as required.
