We’re looking for a dynamic and experienced Sales Engineer with deep expertise in Operating Room Integration (ORI) to help drive the future of connected, digital surgery environments. In this pivotal role, you’ll bridge the gap between cutting‑edge technology and real-world clinical needs empowering hospitals, surgical centers, and health systems to enhance patient outcomes through smarter, more integrated operating rooms.
You’ll work closely with enterprise sales teams, clinical leaders, and IT stakeholders to demonstrate the value of advanced ORI solutions, accelerate the sales process, and influence product innovation through direct feedback from the field. This is a high‑impact, high‑visibility position where your technical insight and communication skills will directly contribute to company growth and customer success.
Serve as the subject matter expert in Operating Room Integration throughout the entire sales cycle from discovery to close.
Collaborate with enterprise sales executives to engage surgeons, perioperative teams, IT professionals, and procurement stakeholders.
Lead tailored product demonstrations, presentations, and technical discussions for both clinical and executive audiences.
Apply in‑depth knowledge of surgical workflows, OR integration architecture, device interoperability, and audiovisual systems to position solutions effectively.
Develop and maintain compelling sales enablement materials, including presentations, whitepapers, ROI tools, and competitive analyses.
Translate customer challenges into clear, actionable solution requirements, ensuring alignment between sales, product, and implementation teams.
Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and customer workshops, showcasing thought leadership and innovation.
Support early‑stage project implementations and collaborate with delivery teams for seamless handoffs.
Provide structured feedback from customer engagements to inform product strategy, identify market opportunities, and guide roadmap enhancements.

5+ years of experience in Operating Room Integration, digital surgery platforms, surgical video systems, or related MedTech fields.
Proven track record in sales engineering, pre‑sales consulting, or technical solution evangelism.
Deep understanding of surgical workflows, OR integration design, and video/audio routing systems.
Familiarity with leading ORI ecosystems and vendors (e.g., Stryker, Storz, Olympus, Getinge, Steris) and ability to clearly articulate differentiated value.
Solid knowledge of device and video standards (e.g., DICOM, video semantics, networking) relevant to OR integration.
Exceptional ability to establish credibility with surgeons, perioperative leaders, and executive‑level IT stakeholders.
Outstanding presentation, communication, and storytelling abilities—able to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
Entrepreneurial mindset, with comfort operating in fast‑paced, evolving environments.
Skilled in gathering and synthesizing customer insights to support product development and competitive positioning.
Willingness to travel up to 30–40% as needed.
Experience working with or within MedTech startups or rapidly scaling technology organizations.
Demonstrated success influencing product roadmaps or contributing to go‑to‑market strategy in technical domains.
Advanced degree or technical certification related to biomedical engineering, computer science, or healthcare technology.
