The role involves understanding customer needs, presenting technical solutions and propose appropriate products or services. The sales engineer combines deep product/services knowledge with strong communication and problem-solving skill to drive growth and customer satisfaction.

Requirement
  • at least 2 years experience in materials equipment sales
  • good communication skill, self motivated and able to work independently
  • identify and understand customer requirements
  • provide feedback from customers to sales director and internal teams to assists in product development and sales strategy
  • work closely with sales director to develop sales strategy
  • maintain detailed records of sales activities, customer interactions and forecast via internal reporting system
  • ensure customer satisfaction by resolving customer's issues promptly and effectively
  • attend trade shows, conferences and industry events to promote products and stay updated on market trends
Qualification and skills
  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering or chemical engineering
  • Proven experience in technical sales or related role
  • Strong understanding of technical aspects of products
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel overseas for client meeting
