Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Canada is seeking a Sales and Marketing Manager to lead their sales team and manage client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least 5 years in a technical sales role, preferably in robotics or automation. Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and business partners to identify and develop new business opportunities.
  • Lead and manage the sales and marketing team to achieve financial and growth targets.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including lead generation, proposal preparation, negotiation, and deal closure to achieve sales targets.
  • Provide technical solution & collaboration by delivering pre-sales technical support and on-site support for robotic/automation projects.
  • Provide pre-sales technical support, conduct product demonstrations, and deliver presentations tailored to customer requirements.
  • Prepare quotations, sales proposals, and performance reports for management review.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage.
  • Offer after-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction through prompt follow-up and issue resolution.
  • Work closely with management to review sales performance, provide project updates, and implement sales strategies.
  • Continuously enhance technical knowledge to introduce innovative and value-added solutions to clients.
  • Perform other ad-hoc duties as required.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a sales/marketing or technical sales role, preferably in the manufacturing engineering industry.
  • Sales experience in robotics, automation or industrial solutions is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Independent and able to perform under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
  • Possess a valid Class 3 or Class 3A driving license and own vehicle.
