About Serenity Vet

Serenity Vet is on a mission to revolutionize the veterinary industry by providing relief veterinarians with a platform that prioritizes work-life balance, flexibility, and financial stability.

We also streamline relief staffing for veterinary hospitals — helping clinics make data-driven, profitable hiring decisions while attracting and retaining top talent.

Our platform connects relief veterinarians with clinics, addressing staffing shortages while ensuring vets maintain control over their schedules.

We are growing rapidly and looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) who will play a key role in connecting relief veterinarians with clinics, qualifying leads, developing outreach strategies, and fostering strong, lasting customer relationships.

What You’ll Do
Outreach & Lead Qualification
  • Research and identify veterinary clinics using internal databases and verified industry resources.
  • Find and verify decision-makers (Practice Manager, Owner).
  • Send personalized introductory emails and log all outreach activity in the CRM (HubSpot).
  • Follow up 1–2 days later via phone to confirm receipt and assess interest.
  • Qualify leads based on engagement and interest, then mark as Sales Qualified (SQL) and hand off to the Sales Department.
  • Conduct Discovery Calls with newly registered clinics to confirm registration, clarify relief needs (shift volume, timing, type), and capture context for the sales team.
  • Send personalized SMS messages to newly registered veterinarians to welcome them and confirm preferences (schedule, shift type).
  • SDR focuses on qualification and outreach — not closing deals
  • Respond to incoming chat messages and qualify potential leads from website chat or Intercom.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Support
  • Engage with existing veterinarians and clinics to encourage platform usage and collaboration.
  • Present product features and benefits to both sides to increase engagement and conversions.
  • Assist new users with onboarding, account setup, and orientation.
  • Track user engagement and satisfaction; proactively re-engage inactive users.
  • Maintain accurate and complete communication records in CRM and ensure smooth transition of qualified leads to the Sales Department.
  • Reporting & Feedback
  • Manage pipeline and update lead statuses daily.
  • Report on outreach and engagement metrics; identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Gather structured feedback from clinics and veterinarians, sharing insights with product and marketing teams to refine messaging and product experience.
What We’re Looking For
  • Based in New Brunswick and eligible for NRC IRAP Young Graduates Program.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Confident in making outbound calls and following up with clinics or veterinarians.
  • Experience in sales development, customer success, or business development preferred.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems (HubSpot or similar).
  • Detail-oriented, disciplined, and comfortable managing multiple active conversations.
  • Able to work independently and remotely.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or related field.
  • Understanding or interest in the veterinary, healthcare, or HR tech industry is a strong plus.
What We Offer
  • $19/hr compensation with growth opportunities.
  • Mentorship and career development in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.
  • Remote work flexibility (work from home anywhere in New Brunswick).
  • The opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting relief veterinarians and clinics, improving well-being, and building a sustainable staffing model.
Why Join Serenity Vet?

  • Fully Remote: Work from anywhere with flexible hours.
