The role

DEPARTMENT: Global Revenue and Supporter Success (GRSS)

REPORTS TO: Executive Director, US (GRSS)

LOCATION: Remote, East Coast

SALARY RANGE: $51,000 - $63,000 (Placement within this range is dependent upon experience and location)

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Sales Development Associate (SDA) to help drive our mission-driven growth. As an SDA, you will qualify and nurture B2B leads, generate new opportunities, and provide essential pipeline and sales enablement support. You will also play a key role in account management support, helping to ensure client satisfaction, retention, and expansion within existing partnerships. Your work will expand our reach, deepen relationships, and ultimately advance our mission to make workplaces work for women—and everyone.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Lead Qualification & Follow-Up: Evaluate inbound and outbound B2B leads, ensuring strong alignment with ideal client profile and client needs
  • Inbound Engagement: Promptly and thoughtfully follow up with all inbound leads.
  • Outbound Prospecting: Identify and engage new prospects through proactive outreach (calls, email, LinkedIn, etc.).
  • Pipeline Support: Schedule discovery and closing calls for senior team members.
  • Deal Preparation: Create prep materials to equip the team for effective partnership conversations.
  • CRM Management: Maintain Salesforce with accurate activity tracking, lead status, and pipeline updates.
  • Sales Enablement & Supporter Impact: Schedule and prepare for discovery, strategy, and closing calls; capture and share key insights to inform follow-up actions.
  • Support proposal development and renewal documentation, ensuring messaging and materials align with Catalyst’s value proposition.
  • Partner with Relationship Managers to support ongoing client engagement, satisfaction, and renewal activities.
  • Monitor partnership health, flag risks or opportunities, and help coordinate touchpoints to ensure seamless client experiences.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:

  • 1–3 years of experience in B2B sales development, business development, or relationship management (experience in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization is a plus).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect authentically across diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce experience strongly preferred).
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, fast paced environment.
  • Strong initiative, solution-oriented and results driven approach.
  • A mission-driven mindset with intellectual curiosity, persistence, and a collaborative spirit.
  • Experience supporting C-level executives.
  • Familiarity with B2B SaaS or tech sales.
  • Comfort using remote collaboration tools (e.g., Teams, Asana).
