Job summary

WildBrain in Toronto is seeking a Sales and Content Coordinator to support sales operations, deal coordination and cross-functional collaboration within the global Content team.

Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will manage the General Sales Inquiries inbox, prepare reports and newsletters, coordinate meetings, and assist with rights, distribution data, and client communications in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in sales coordination, content distribution, marketing, or a related administrative role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience creating client-facing presentations, newsletters, reports, and professional business correspondence.
  • Proven ability to coordinate cross-functionally and build effective working relationships with internal teams.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with exceptional time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, including the use of formulas and to analyze and streamline information.
  • Experience working with rights management systems such as FilmTrack is considered an asset.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with the ability to compile data, prepare forecast templates and track revenue with accuracy.
  • Experience creating presentations, marketing materials, and email campaigns; proficiency with PowerPoint, Canva, Mailchimp, or related design and communications tools is an asset.
  • Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment when handling confidential information and representing the department internally and externally.
  • Bilingualism in English and French is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate Sales team meetings, including scheduling internal and external meetings, preparing agendas, maintaining meeting minutes, and tracking action items to ensure timely follow‑up and accountability.
  • Oversee the General Sales Inquiries inbox and return and direct emails to appropriate teams in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with travel, tradeshow and content summit preparations for Sales and Content teams, including scheduling group meetings, bookings, and some travel arrangements as needed.
  • Assist with research projects for content development team.
  • Generate rights availability reports (FilmTrack) and format the data in Excel to create accurate, clear, and client‑ready materials.
  • Facilitate clip licensing deals from start to finish, including obtaining approvals with music, legal, franchise and rights teams, and negotiating business terms with clients, and preparing deal summaries to support agreement drafting.
  • Prepare sales history reports and sales forecast templates.
  • Prepare quarterly update presentations for priority productions, including recent distribution sales, trade show activity, press coverage, advertising initiatives, awards and YouTube/AVOD performance.
  • Create and distribute quarterly client newsletter in collaboration with Sales Team, by researching industry trends, writing copy and formatting graphics, maintaining client contact list, and executing delivery to targeted client list via Mailchimp.
  • Assist with creating, collecting and organizing sales materials including pitch decks and screeners.
  • Support revenue visibility by maintaining active sales revenue tracker and facilitate weekly cross‑functional meeting to assess priorities, identify risks, and advance pending deals to execution.

About the Role

Reporting to the Director of Sales, the Sales and Content Coordinator is an integral part of WildBrain’s global Content team, helping drive the organization’s commercial success by supporting sales operations, deal coordination and cross-functional collaboration.

This is an opportunity to gain hands‑on experience in the global kids and family entertainment business while working with a team responsible for developing, producing and distributing some of the world’s best‑known brands to broadcasters, streaming platforms and other media partners around the world.

We are looking for someone who is curious, highly organized, analytical and proactive, with a genuine interest in media and entertainment. The successful candidate will be comfortable working across multiple teams, managing competing priorities and will strive to improve processes, use data more effectively and make the sales organization more efficient.

Total Rewards

Compensation:$55,000 - $65,000 (CAD).Base salary is part of a comprehensive total rewards package that includes:
