Tasks
- Prepare sales, rental or leasing contracts
- Operate computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems
- Provide advice about merchandise
- Advertise and/or promote products, sales or services
- Perform data entry
- Provide customer service
- Assist in display of merchandise
- Conduct sales transactions through Internet-based electronic commerce
- Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates
- Greet customers and discuss type, quality and quantity of merchandise or services sought for purchase, rental or lease
- Maintain sales records for inventory control
- Prepare merchandise for purchase, rental or lease
Job Duties
- Maintain demonstrated responsibility and accountability for meeting individual and team monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Execute excellence throughout all facets of the sales cycle
- Provide a consultation to any client considering a diamond purchase
- Guide clients seamlessly through the custom process
- Communicate effectively with clients by email, phone, text, virtual and/or in-person scheduled and walk-in appointments
- Respond to the phone and door when Front Office Coordinator is not present
- Assist in keeping showroom and showcases visually appealing
- Assist the internal team and web developers in ensuring the smooth operation of our online store and maintaining product listings
- Add and update product listings on the website/e-commerce platform, including descriptions, images, and prices
- Perform regular quality checks to ensure accurate and consistent product information across the website
- Perform regular audits to identify inventory accuracy, website issues, and opportunities for improvement and ensure a seamless user experience
- Maintain a high level of awareness of and concern for inventory control and loss prevention practices
