As a Sales Consultant, Emerging Accounts reporting to the Sales Manager, Emerging & Key Accounts, you will be the primary point of contact for small-to-medium-sized businesses within a designated geography. By helping these organizations optimize their workflows with Canon’s hardware and IT services, you will directly contribute to their operational efficiency and play a vital role in expanding Canon's market presence.

Responsibilities
  • Drive New Business: Prospect weekly for new customers using phone blitzes and on-site visits to identify opportunities.
  • Meet Sales Targets: Achieve annual individual sales quotas for software and hardware within the commercial sector.
  • Consultative Solutions: Conduct "officeFLOW" assessments to analyze print costs and workflows, identifying areas for value-added Canon solutions.
  • Pipeline Management: Manage the full sales cycle for all opportunities, including leads generated through demand-generation activities.
  • Product Expertise: Deliver product demonstrations and proposals highlighting Canon’s advantages.
  • Accurate Reporting: Document all activities, including competitor information and billing needs, in Salesforce.
Qualifications

  • The role is an outside face-to-face sales role. You will be in the office on Mondays and Wednesdays each week, unless required to be at a customer's location. Sales is expected to maximize their time at customer locations and the remaining time, you will be able to work from a home workspace.

  • On Target Earnings (OTE) $83,127-88,721 annually (uncapped commission). Actual OTE is inclusive of base salary and incentive compensation, will depend on factors such as skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
