Overview

This is an in-person role based in Kitchener, Ontario. Must have a valid Ontario driver\'s license and access to a reliable vehicle. We are seeking a passionate and results-driven Sales Consultant to join a growing team in a senior living environment. This position is ideal for someone who is dedicated to helping older adults find supportive and enriching lifestyles. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving occupancy and revenue by building strong relationships with prospective residents and their families.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the sales and leasing process for retirement suites offering Independent Supportive Living and Assisted Living.
  • Apply a consultative sales approach to guide seniors and their families in making informed living decisions.
  • Respond to inquiries using a discovery-focused approach to convert interest into scheduled visits.
  • Conduct personalized tours and consultations to highlight the benefits of community living.
  • Implement strategic follow-up activities to progress leads and close leases.
  • Maintain and update CRM systems to track sales activity and trends.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Director and regional leadership to meet occupancy and revenue goals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local healthcare providers and community organizations to drive referrals.
  • Coordinate and execute marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Conduct competitive market analysis to inform sales tactics and positioning.
  • Contribute to leadership meetings and strategic planning initiatives as part of the local management team.
Qualifications
  • Previous sales experience in the retirement or senior living sector.
  • Demonstrated ability in building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Background in marketing or customer service preferred.
  • Experience working with older adults is a strong asset.
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field is advantageous.
  • Proven success in following and executing a structured sales process.
  • Empathy and exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM and related sales software tools.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Valid driver\'s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
