A leading retailer of wines in Southwestern Ontario is looking for a Wine Merchant. In this role, you will provide outstanding customer service, perform POS transactions, and engage in community initiatives. Candidates should have a passion for customer experience and preferably possess retail experience. As a Wine Merchant you will provide exceptional customer service, while we provide you with a strong wine education training program and the opportunity to learn and taste Arterra’s award winning wines. Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service and engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner.
  • Perform POS (point of sale) transactions and merchandising tasks, such as receiving shipments and replenishment.
  • Meet and exceed shift targets and contribute to a positive store environment.
  • Participate in community-driven initiatives and festivals.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Maintain required qualifications: 19 years of age or older; High School or equivalent education; Smart Serve Certification.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job including lifting up to 21 kilograms, standing, reaching, bending and climbing ladders.
