Roots in Edmonton is seeking a Sales Associate to deliver exceptional service and foster lasting relationships with customers. Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll help maintain store standards, assist with merchandising, and process transactions.

Qualifications

• Retail experience preferably in apparel.
• Ability to develop relationships with customers.
• Understanding retail operations: store standards, cash handling, merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Display a customer comes first attitude. Build and maintain customer loyalty.
• Resolve customer issues effectively at store level in a timely manner.
• Be a team player and contribute to store success.
• Perform POS transactions and merchandising tasks (receiving shipments, replenishment, price markdowns, fitting room upkeep).
• Keep current on product and service updates.
• Ensure store is visually appealing and conforms to standards through presentation and housekeeping.
• Adhere to Loss Prevention policies.

NATURE & SCOPE:

We are currently hiring for a Sales Associate. Reporting to the Store Manager, the Sales Associate plays a vital role in promoting our core values. The main objective of this position is to provide exceptional service to customers and build relationships with them. The goal is to develop customers for life.
