Job summary

Mind Games USA in Oshawa is seeking seasonal sales associates to join our team during the busy holiday period. You will greet customers, provide product recommendations, and operate the POS system to process transactions.

You will restock, maintain a clean store, and develop knowledge of games, toys, and collectibles. The role offers a lively, customer-focused environment with flexible evening, weekend, and holiday hours.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience is an asset.
• Ability to deliver excellent customer service and communicate clearly.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
• Flexible seasonal availability including evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, answer questions, and recommend products based on their needs.
• Provide friendly and exceptional customer service.
• Operate the POS system and accurately process customer transactions.
• Restock merchandise and maintain a clean, organized store.
• Develop knowledge of the store’s products including games, toys, puzzles, collectibles, and pop-culture merchandise.
• Assist customers with product selection and provide relevant product information.
• Support the team in meeting store sales goals.
• Assist with inventory, merchandising, and general store operations.
• Follow all store policies, procedures, and safety requirements.
• Assist with opening and closing duties when required.
• Perform other store-related duties as assigned.

We are looking for motivated and energetic Seasonal Sales Associates who thrive in a fast-paced retail environment and are passionate about providing an exceptional customer experience.

Duties And Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To

• Greet customers, answer questions, and recommend products based on their needs.
• Provide friendly and exceptional customer service.
• Operate the POS system and accurately process customer transactions.

• Develop knowledge of the store’s products, including games, toys, puzzles, collectibles, and pop-culture merchandise.

• Follow all store policies, procedures, and safety requirements.

Pay Rate: $17.60 per hour

Qualifications And Skills

• Previous retail, sales, or customer service experience is an asset.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
• Friendly, dependable, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Passion or knowledge of pop culture, games, toys, collectibles, and board games is an asset.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds.
• Flexible availability during the seasonal period, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
