POSITION PURPOSE SUMMARY: The Salvation Army, a Christian charitable organization, requires a part time Thrift Store worker in Abbotsford – cashier duties, serving customers, sorting/pricing. Must be willing to work Saturdays. Applicants should have cashier/customer service/retail experience, ability to lift 25 lbs and have a cooperative and compassionate attitude.
NOTE: For some jobs, you may be required to provide validated educational documentation.
The successful job applicant will have completed Public School.
Experience:
The performance of the job requires visual monitoring and frequently working with numbers.
The performance of the job requires continuously standing for long periods of time, frequent twisting, bending, crouching, reaching, reaching overhead, pushing and pulling, lifting, kneeling and entering data for transactions.
Varies: Monday to Saturday – must be willing to work Saturdays.
The target hiring range for this position is $17.85 to $19.69 with a maximum of $23.63.
Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
